It is Thursday afternoon, you have forty minutes before school pickup, and something in your marketing is bothering you. Maybe a customer mentioned they found a competitor through ChatGPT. Maybe your contact list has the same person in it three times, under three spellings. You do not need a curriculum. You need the one document that deals with the thing in front of you, and you need to find it in five minutes, not thirty.

NetWebMedia's free guides page lists 22 of them, on AI agents, AI search, paid media, CRM data and content systems. Each one can be read online and has a PDF you can download from its page. Twenty-two is too many to browse when the clock is running, so here is how I would route you through them: by problem, not by topic.

First, a warning about who they were written for

Read the subtitles and you will notice that a good share of these guides are aimed at marketing teams. There are guides on B2B intent data, ChatGPT Enterprise, HubSpot's Breeze features, Google's AI ad campaigns, OpenAI's Realtime API for voice and fully autonomous marketing agents. If you run a salon or a two-person law office, several of them describe a department you do not have. Skip those without guilt.

On the guides page each card carries a tag, such as Marketing Ops Guide or Paid Media Guide, and a one-line subtitle. The subtitle is the faster filter. If it talks about accounts, enterprise tools or a team, it was written for a company with a marketing department, and you can move on to the next card.

I would also read any guide, ours included, the way you would read a vendor's white paper. When a figure is about to drive a decision, find where it comes from before you repeat it or spend money on it. A useful guide survives that check. The advice matters more than the statistics around it anyway.

If AI assistants never mention you

Read LLM SEO: The Complete Guide to AI Search Citation. Its subject is the entity authority and content structure that get a brand cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude. If your traffic fell while your rankings held steady, pair it with The Zero-Click Search Playbook, which deals with searches that end on the results page without a visit.

If your contact list is a mess

Read AI CRM Data Hygiene. It covers auditing, cleaning and maintaining CRM data, with a two-hour audit framework and a section on merging duplicates without losing history. It is written for operations people at B2B companies, and its comparison of enrichment tools will not matter to a small shop. The audit and the quality gates at the point of entry apply to anyone who keeps a list of customers.

If AI writes copy that does not sound like you

Read AI Brand Voice Enforcement, which is about configuring and auditing AI tools so their output sounds like your business. It becomes useful the moment more than one person writes in your name, and an owner working with an AI assistant already counts as two.

If every piece of content dies after a day

Read The AI Content Repurposing System, about building the routine that turns one piece of work into many. Take the operational parts, such as what to cut and who checks it, and leave anything that assumes a content team.

If you cannot tell which channel is working

Read AI Attribution Modeling, about replacing last-click attribution with a model closer to how customers actually buy. An honest caveat: attribution models need volume. A business with a handful of inquiries a month will learn more by asking every new customer how they heard about it and writing the answer down.

If paid traffic lands and leaves

Read AI Landing Page Optimization. It argues for AI-driven optimization over slow A/B tests, which assumes steady paid traffic to learn from. If you spend little on ads, fix the page's opening message and the one thing you want the visitor to do before you optimize anything.

If every email you send reads the same

Read The AI Email Personalization Playbook, which is about moving past a first name in the greeting toward messages triggered by what a person actually did. It is written with large lists in mind. The useful part for a small business is the list of behavioral events worth tracking, because even a list of a few hundred people behaves differently after someone books or goes quiet.

If you do not know which problem you have

Sometimes the honest answer to the first step is that you cannot name the problem, only the feeling that something is off. A guide will not help much there, because every guide assumes you already know where to look. Measure first. The free website audit checks your own site across 19 dimensions, including AI search visibility, mobile speed, schema and lead capture, and the weakest of those tells you which guide to open. Then come back to this list with a sentence instead of a feeling.

Guides to leave for later

The guides on autonomous agents, B2B intent data, ChatGPT Enterprise, Gemini ads, HubSpot's AI features, the Realtime API, programmatic SEO and AI podcasting all assume a team or a particular platform. They are worth opening the day you have that platform or that team. Until then, leaving them unread costs you nothing.

The same goes for the guides on social listening, competitive intelligence, customer segmentation, influencer selection and multimodal production. They are real disciplines, and each one pays off after the basics above are working, not before.

How to spend the forty minutes

  1. Name the problem in one sentence, in your own words, before opening anything.
  2. Pick the one guide above that matches it. If none matches, that is a sign the problem is narrower than a guide, and a conversation will solve it faster.
  3. Download the PDF instead of reading on the page, so you can mark it up.
  4. Read the section closest to your problem first, not the introduction.
  5. Write down one change you can make this week and put a date next to it. Then close the file.

If you finish the forty minutes with one change and a date, that single guide did more for you than all twenty-two skimmed on a slow afternoon. The next guide can wait until the change is made and you know whether it worked.

The full list, with a one-line description of each guide, is on the free guides page. Every guide opens without a signup, and the PDF is one click from each guide's page.
